Scunthorpe Museum Society

Scunthorpe Museum Society was created in 1957. There were multiple sections of the society initially but these have since reduced to three groups; Arts, Local History and Archaeology, and Natural History and Geology. Each group works independently and runs its own society but the Local History and Archaeology, and Natural History and Geology share the same venue to meet between September - April at Old Brumby United Church Hall on Monday evenings. Only one meeting is held in December where all sections come together for a social event. Please note there is a membership fee of £15 per year except the Art section who pay per meeting. Meetings are all advertised on the website.
