Let the Ladies Have Their Turn: a Discussion on Women Crime Writers
If you are a fan of women crime writers, join us for our celebration of the genre during National Crime Reading Month.
Local writer and crime novelist Stephen Wade will talk about his writing before chairing a discussion and vote.
We have complied our own top twenty poll of the most-borrowed women crime and thriller writers in our libraries, across books, e books and e audiobooks. The authors in our list will be profiled on our Libraries Facebook page during April, May and June. You will be able to nominate your favourite, which may or may not be in our top twenty, and then a comparison will be made between the two lists.
Attendees are invited to talk about their own favourite woman crime writer and why they have chosen that writer. Please note, this is optional, and all views and opinions are very welcome.
This is a free event, but places are limited and need to be booked at Let the Ladies Have Their Turn: a Discussion on Women Crime Writers
